WITL--Friday

Yesterday was a different sort of day.  It started out normal for a Friday--we usually hang out in our pj's for most of the day.  Luke also likes to build a train track on Friday mornings.  After getting distracted by Luke's piggy bank for a while, we started building a train track upstairs in the gameroom.  I decided to come downstairs to clean the kitchen up a bit before lunch and Luke threw a major tantrum about it.  He was upstairs crying and screaming for 40 minutes!  I finally told him to either calm down and come eat lunch or go to his room.  He choose his room and promptly fell asleep at 12:15 without eating lunch.  I opted to let him sleep rather than waking him.  Hannah and I hung out on the couch (she wouldn't sleep alone today) until I decided to take a shower.  Luke woke up about 2:40 and then had breakfast for lunch (because he thought it was morning).  We got ready to go to Sam's Club and also figured out that we were going to go to Dad and Frankie's for dinner.  We had a great evening playing Mario Cart, washers and hanging out outside along with a yummy dinner of grilled pork loin.  Luke went right to bed when we got home and Troy, Hannah and I hung out in the family room watching TV until we all went to bed about 11:30.  I didn't take nearly as many pictures today--only 88.

WITL--Thursday

Yesterday was a very long day.  It started out okay but there was a slow slide downhill all afternoon.  Thursday mornings are usually tough for Luke to get going and this one was no exception.  After finally dropping him off at school Hannah and I ran some errands.  We went to Target, Lowe's and Under the Sun.  I had fun picking out flowers for the yard and my pots--wish I could say that I was done buying because it's hard when you have a baby with you but I love the process too much to really complain.  Once home I unloaded everything and then the slide started.  Hannah would not settle down or go to sleep.  I know she was probably not feeling great after getting her shots at the doctor.  Thankfully she did let me carry her around in the moby wrap for a while (that's not always the case).  We also walked around outside looking at different flowers around the yard for some entertainment.  After we picked Luke up we all hung out on the couch for a while because I was getting a headache.  I managed to get dinner ready with Hannah in the moby again and she finally fell asleep in there.  After dinner Troy and Luke played monster and bonk until Luke got hurt twice and decided he was done playing.  I then laid down to rest and Troy, Luke and Hannah watched some TV.  I put Luke to bed and then was a blob on the couch trying to get rid of my headache which seemed to only be getting worse.  Hannah was still super fussy but she finally fell asleep about 11 and then I was finally able to go to bed myself.  I took 139 pictures today which was impressive considering I didn't feel good for half the day.

WITL--Wednesday

Today was a school day for Luke.  That means getting up and ready along with doing the same for both kids by 8:50 to make it on time.  Thankfully Hannah slept all night so it wasn't a very stressful school morning--some definitely are.  While Luke was at school Hannah had her 4 month check-up, we went to TLC to buy flowers with Frankie and out to lunch with Frankie as well (so glad she was there to help me with the flowers).  We then came home chilled for a bit before picking LJ up and heading to the park with Ashley and the boys.  It was hot yesterday--in the lower ninties.  Not a great sign for the rest of the summer.  Because we were so hot after being at the park, I stopped and got Luke and I a rather large ice cream cone to share when we got home.  It was definitely a highlight for me.  Troy came home early because a pen exploded all over him; a shirt and pair of pants most likely ruined with red ink.  We then all went to Kohl's and Troy then had a haircut.  We came home and had dinner and then when Troy got home we went out in the backyard and our neighbors joined us for a while.  Bath time for both kids followed by bedtime for Luke and hanging out on the couch watching TV and feeding Hannah for me while Troy chilled as well completed our evening.  143 pictures were taken today.
